LesMills BodyPump is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BodyPump gives you a total body workout. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.
$15 gets you a workout, your choice of a brew and benefits the YMCA’s Annual Campaign, which helps people afford YMCA memberships and programs through scholarships.
Must be 21 years or older to register and attend. Participants can sign up for these classes through the MINDBODY app one starting July 6 to hold your spot. Registered participants will pay via cash or credit upon arrival at Centerpoint on July 13.
Join us for a YMCA instructor-led class on the first and third Tuesdays this summer (May – August)!
We’ll meet on The Alexander Plaza (333 S. Delaware), located on the south side of the hotel, just across the street from the Irsay Family YMCA at CityWay. This event is open to the public, and you don’t need to be a member of the YMCA to participate. Don’t forget to bring your own mat!
Put on your thinking cap and get ready to join the YMCA at the Athenaeum at Sun King Brewery for great evening out!
- Who said “I triple dog dare ya”?
- Name all of Santa’s reindeer.
- What was Hermey the Elf’s ideal occupation?
Can you guess the theme? That’s right! It’s Christmas in July at Sun King Brewery! Brush up on your favorite holiday movies and bring your friends and family out for a night of yuletide trivia during this Think and Drink fundraiser.
This event is free to attend and open to families. Must be 21 or older to drink. $1 of every pint sold this evening will go back to the YMCA at the Athenaeum and help support the Y’s 2019 Breakfast with Santa event on December 14, 2019.
They YMCA at the Athenaeum’s Breakfast with Santa serves over 450 children and families each year. The Y will celebrate it’s 22nd year helping underserved children from local Indianapolis homeless and domestic violence shelters. Your support, all while having a fun evening out of drinks and trivia, can help make a huge difference in the life of a child that might not otherwise get to experience the magic of the holiday season.
Can’t make it out to the event? Consider making a donation to the YMCA at the Athenaeum or purchasing a toy that will be given to a child during this year’s Breakfast with Santa event. Toys can be dropped off at the YMCA at the Athenaeum. You can also buy a toy directly through our Amazon Wish List.
So come spend the evening with Sun King Brewery and the YMCA at the Athenaeum for a fun evening to benefit a wonderful cause.
