Checkmate Youth Engagement Club

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) is excited to partner with local teens for a special club featuring chess, checkers and meaningful mentorship.

What to Expect

Chess & Checkers Play: Engage in friendly competition and sharpen your strategic thinking skills with chess and checkers.
Mentorship Sessions: Connect with IMPD officers who are eager to share their wisdom, guidance, and insights into leadership and community service.
Building Community: Strengthen relationships between law enforcement and youth through shared interests and positive interactions.
Snacks & Refreshments: Enjoy light refreshments and snacks throughout the event.

This event is open to all teens interested in learning, playing and building lasting connections with IMPD officers and peers.
