Half Marathon and 10K Training Program
The Fishers YMCA Half Marathon Training Program will prepare you for the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon, Carmel Half Marathon/10K or Geist Half Marathon/10K and help you achieve your goal of crossing the finish line!
Our training program includes mileage plans, organized training days, equipment information, cross-training suggestions, and nutrition strategies.
17-week program begins the week of January 11, 2020 and includes:
Pace Groups: For all levels/paces from walking to running
Training led by experienced, RRCA-certified coaches
Educational information on nutrition, running shoes, cross-training, and injury prevention.
Coach-led long runs and two additional set-mileage days per week
Play & Learn services available for YMCA Members

Training sessions will vary between 45 minutes and up to 3 hours, depending on mileage and pace. Sessions begin and end in the Fishers YMCA lobby. All training sessions are scheduled to be outdoors. Participants need to dress appropriately and wear reflective clothing.
Monday and Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday at 8:00 a.m. ($105 / Y Member: $90)
Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30 a.m. and Saturday at 8:00 a.m. ($105 / Y Member: $90)
Saturday at 8:00 a.m. ($60/ Y Member: $50)
Training fee does not include race registration or fees. Please register separately for the April 4 Carmel Half Marathon/10K online, May 2 OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon online or the May 16 Geist Half Marathon/10K online.
