Safe@Home at the Jordan YMCA

One of the best ways you can help preteens develop the confidence they’ll need to succeed in life is by teaching them the skills to stay home alone. Teach them Safe@Home!
Students (Grades 4-6) learn how to practice safe habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failure or weather emergencies. Students are also introduced to the Safe Sitter First Aid Chart to help them learn a system to assist in assessing and responding to injuries and illnesses.

*Pre-registration is required the Wednesday before class by 5PM
