Yoga Workshop Series – Yin

In this month’s workshop we will learn that Yin yoga is a much more in depth process compared to our usual Yang style yoga. In Yin, we will be holding poses for 3-5 minutes, targeting the connective tissue and fascia throughout the body. Yin allows the body to relax into the poses to promote joint health and flexibility. We will be staying closer to our mats, primarily practicing poses while seated, on our backs and prone. Props, blocks and modifications will be provided to assist all practitioners, regardless of experience.
