Whether it is choosing to exercise a few times per week, giving up fast food meals, or educating themselves on nutrition and/or fitness, the YMCA encourages individuals to choose a healthy lifestyle for themselves and their family. Burn calories in fun group exercise classes like Zumba, Pilates, or our newest program, Les Mills BodyPump – all led by experienced instructors. And finally, come together and build new relationships surrounding common interests and life experiences.

Whether you’re a new exerciser, comfortable with your fitness but looking for something more, or a seasoned competitor, our YMCA Personal Training Program will get you results.
The Personal Training Starter Package is the entry point to the YMCA’s Personal Training Program. You will be contacted by a Certified Personal Trainer within the next two business days to discuss and schedule your first one-on-one session. In this session you will:
- Meet with a Certified Personal Trainer
- Complete a series of baseline assessments
- Discuss your health and wellness goals
- Determine the right customized personal training program plan for you!

Small Group Training
Work It in T.E.A.M Training!
T.E.A.M. Training, a part of the Y’s Small Group Training (SGT) portfolio, sets the stage for a well rounded program. Fueled by MX4 and Synergy, this high intensity circuit format will develop all key areas of fitness: Strength, Cardiovascular and Flexibility, creating a great foundation to build your personalized SGT Experience.

Attention fitness swimmers, triathletes and those interested in an additional cardio workout
This adult program (18+) is open to those looking to add more cardio to weekly workout routine. Weekly workouts are available by email to participants for independent or group practice; group practices are supervised by an in-water coach. Instruction for training, stroke mechanics and goal setting can be arranged by request.Email Us
Certificates & Training
Heartsaver® First Aid
Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. First aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, and environmental emergencies are included in the course. Upon successful completion of the course, including a first aid skills test, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid course completion card, valid for two years.Email Us
The YMCA offers certified Lifeguard Training for ages 16 and up.
The YMCA Lifeguard Training course is the most comprehensive program available, including certifications in CPR/AED, Basic Life Support, First Aid and Oxygen Administration.Training in equipment-based rescues for aquatic environments, accident prevention and decision-making skills prepare participants for employment.
Participants must be 16 years old before the start of class. Attendance, full participation, and successful completion of written tests and performance of all water skills are required.
Participants must be able to:
- Tread water for at least 2 minutes
- Swim 100 yards of front crawl
- Swim 50 yards each of front crawl with head up, sidestroke, breaststroke, breaststroke with head up, inverted breaststroke kick with hands on stomach
- Perform a feet-first surface dive in 8 to 10 feet of water and then swim underwater for 15 feet
- Perform a series of tasks given by the instructor to demonstrate listening and scanning ability as well as stamina and endurance
BodyAttack® is a high energy fitness class with moves that cater to both total beginners and total addicts.
We combine athletic moves like running lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. A certified LES MILLS instructor will pump out energizing tunes and lead you through the workout-challenging your limits in a good way, burning up to 730 calories and leaving you with a great feeling of achievement.

BODYPUMP™ is for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit fast.
Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP™ gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 540 calories. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music- helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.

RPM ™ is a group indoor cycling workout where you control the intensity. It’s fun, low impact and you can burn up to 675 calories a session. With great music pumping and the group spinning as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding.

VIRTUAL™ gives you a large variety of exciting classes, on-demand, with the best international presenters, programs & content!
Les Mills Virtual means more of your favorite classes, more often. For those who’ve just started their journey to a fitter, stronger life, Les Mills Virtual is a great way to get your moves sorted and your confidence up before you get into live classes. If you’re a more experienced member, you’ll enjoy being able to work out to the world’s best fitness programs, led by the world’s best instructors, at times that suit your schedule.
Les Mills Virtual has been designed as a complement to instructor-led classes, not a replacement – it provides you with options for working out at times when you can’t get to a live class (or if you miss one because it’s too full, or you’re running late). Do both Virtual and live and enjoy the freedom of having more ways to max out your favorite classes!
Les Mills Virtual™ classes are part of the Y’s group exercise program, offering the huge Les Mills library of virtual classes, all led by world-class instructors in pre-recorded segments:
- Barre – A modern version of classic balletic training designed to shape and tone postural muscles, build core strength, and allow you to escape the everyday. Moderate to high intensity.
- BodyCombat – Get fast, fast and strong using non-contact martial arts-inspired exercises to fuel cardio fitness and train the whole body. Moderate to high intensity.
- BodyFlow – Yoga-based workout with elements of Tai Chi and Pilates set to music. Helps you build your flexibility and core strength while reducing stress and focusing your mind to create a lasting sense of wellbeing. Low intensity.
- BodyFlow Flexibility – Yoga-based workout with elements of Tai Chi and Pilates set to music. It will improve your mind, body and life. Focusing on flexibility.
- BodyPump – The original barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Moderate to high intensity.
- CXWORX – 30 minute core conditioning workout targeting all the muscles around the core. A strong core makes us better at everything we do. Moderate intensity.
- Grit-Cardio – 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout designed to improve strength and build lean muscle. High intensity.
- RPM – Cycling (stationary bike) workout where you control the intensity. Dial up the challenge factor to match your fitness level. Intensity can be self adjusted.
- Sh’Bam – Fun-loving and insanely addictive dance workout. No dance experience required! Moderate intensity.
- Sprint – High-intensity interval training on a bike. It’s a short, intense style of training where it pushes your physical and mental limits.

Do you suffer from arthritis or other physical or joint limitations? Our YMCA offers several low-intensity physical activity programs that will increase strength and improve range of motion. Also, join us for monthly social events and luncheons.

Adult Water Exercise
Known as the Zumba “pool party”
With a RPE rating of 4-6 Aqua Zumba gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Splashing, stretching, twisting, even shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering are often heard during an Aqua Zumba class. Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua ftness disciplines, Aqua Zumba blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.Water Aerobics Schedule

This is the perfect class for those with flexibility and stiffness issues
