Swimming is a fun and enjoyable activity for children and adults alike, and it’s an easy way to stay physically active and improve strength, flexibility and stamina.
In addition to learning lifesaving water safety skills, children can increase their physical activity by swimming. For over 150 years, kids and teens have learned to swimg with help from the YMCA! From beginner classes to advanced classes and swim teams, the Y is a great teacher.
Swim Programs
Playing in the water together provides quality family time and water acclimation. Learn safety skills that will last a lifetime, as well as the fundamentals of swimming.
Youth learn personal safety, stroke development and so much more. Y lessons are progressive, and students are grouped based on skill level.
Whether you are trying to get over the fear of water or just looking for a great form of exercise, our certified instructors can help you develop your strokes and reach your goals.
For those looking for individual attention, wanting to improve specific techniques or fearful of the water. You will receive a more personalized attention to activate your swimming skills.
A competitive team for swimmers. Practice is 3-5 days a week and, during the off season, meets are a minimum of once a month. Our coaches will focus on increasing the endurance and speed, while refining technique in a positive and fun environment.
