Learning to swim builds confidence in the poolPublished: Thursday, June 1, 2017 Wyatt always loved swimming, until he had a scare in his neighborhood pool two summers ago. He was in an inflatable tube and slipped out of it while his mom was across the pool. With only a couple sessions of group lessons under his belt, he knew enough about swimming to practice with supportive floatation devices, but not enough to help himself in an emergency. By the time his mom got to him, the scare did enough damage to his confidence that he didn’t want to get back in the water. Rather than let his fears overcome his fun, Wyatt’s family enrolled him in private swim lessons. Wyatt Starts Learning to Swim The one-on-one attention was enough to give him the confidence to get back in the pool, and get him swimming on his own entirely!
