August 22, 2019
NEWS + STORIES

Marion County residents have improved in two key health outcomes: 1) increased physical activity in adults, and 2) decreased tobacco use. The Top 10 Coalition celebrates top 10 coalition logothese wins and highlights projects that have supported these outcomes in its 2018 Annual Report.

“Today we are celebrating the work of many partners in Marion County who have come together to improve our community’s health. Many small steps have been taken by individuals, organizations and the Coalition to create a strong culture of health in Indiana. And there is more work to do!” says Chelsy Winters, senior director of Community Health at the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis and Top 10 Coalition facilitator.

“The Coalition will continue to drive and support initiatives that make it easier for residents to be active, have access to healthier foods and be tobacco-free. New partners are always welcome.”
