The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis has a critical need to fill 100 positions to run its Before and After School programs. Multiple jobs, including part-time and full-time opportunities such as activity leader, site director and other roles, are open at more than 100 schools in Marion and surrounding counties.

The YMCA is also seeking 26 volunteers to be a “Y Buddy” in the After School program. A Y Buddy volunteers from 3 – 6 p.m. on the first day of each month and provides one-on-one support to students with diverse needs.

The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is the largest provider of school-age programs in the Indianapolis area. Serving students in Kindergarten through 12 years of age, YMCA Before and After School programs, keep youth active and engaged in a safe place where they continue to learn. Students get a healthy snack, help with homework, build social skills and do art, science and character-building activities.
