Fishers Y, Hendricks Regional Health Y, and Witham Family Y Ready to Welcome Back Members

We’ve really missed seeing you around here. On May 24, in alignment with the Governor’s Back On Track Indiana Roadmap, we’re reopening three of our Centers: the Fishers YMCA, the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA, and the Witham Family YMCA. And we look forward to announcing the opening of additional Ys, in Marion County, just as soon as we can.

We’ll be taking some extra precautions as we reopen:

OUR STAFF WILL BE WEARING FACE MASKS and we encourage you to join us where appropriate. Our masks protect you, and your masks protect us.

WE’VE SET NEW OCCUPANCY LIMITS in many areas of our Centers, and we’ve put markers in place to help members maintain appropriate physical distancing.

WE’VE ADDED SOME NEW POLICIES including enhanced cleaning protocols.

Here’s what you need to know:

YOU WILL BE ASKED TO ANSWER HEALTH-SCREENING QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU ENTER THE Y Do you have a fever of 100.4 or greater or any of the following symptoms: cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing? In the last 14 days, have you been in close contact (within 6 feet) with someone who has a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis?

BRING A TOWEL, MAT & WATER BOTTLE To help maintain a healthier environment, towel service is suspended and we ask that you please bring your own yoga mat. Water fountains won’t be available, but you can fill your water bottle at one of our refill stations.

OPEN GYM WILL OBSERVE PHYSICAL DISTANCING Please bring your own basketball, and thanks for understanding there will be no pick-up sports during this phase of reopening.

DOWNLOAD THE YMCA OF GREATER INDIANAPOLIS APP TO RESERVE A LANE FOR LAP SWIMMING, OR FOR OPEN SWIM AT THE OUTDOOR POOL (Fishers YMCA only, outdoor pool opening May 25). In the first phase of reopening, indoor pools will be reserved for lap swimming, and outdoor pool times will be scheduled to ensure we maintain proper physical distancing.

GUEST PASSES ON HOLD Guest passes are not available for sale or redemption during this time, and Nationwide Membership is temporarily suspended.

REOPENING HOURS The Y will be closing at 8 PM Monday through Friday with regular weekend hours.

FOR MORE INFORMATION about what to expect, including opening schedules, summer childcare, Play & Learn (minimum age 3, opening May 26), the minimum age for unaccompanied children, and other important details, please see our YMCA Reopening Guide.
