Learn a new sport or enhance your current skills through the sports programs offered at the YMCA. The variety of sports programs will help promote healthy living, build relationships and improve physical condition. More importantly, the supportive environment that surrounds the YMCA leads to an enjoyable time and participants see the benefits of being healthy and active.


Youth Basketball (Competitive)


The YMCA Youth Basketball Leagues are designed to give participants the chance to develop their knowledge and skills in a positive and highly instructional environment.

League will focus on skill development and the fundamentals of basketball. All games will be played at your local YMCA Center; however, participants in our Travel Basketball Leagues will play games at other YMCA locations. Previous basketball experience necessary for the Travel League.

Youth Basketball (Recreational)


Youth participating in basketball activities can be a great form of exercise that also helps form team-building skills and a sense of community.

Whether it’s practicing drills and free throws or perfecting your layup, the Y has the best basketball experience for you and your family.

Adult Basketball (Competitive)


Challenge your competitive spirit and improve your basketball skills at the YMCA!

We offer competitive Adult Basketball programs that allow you to improve your skills, challenge yourself, and test your skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Adult Basketball (Recreational)


YMCA recreational basketball is the perfect opportunity for adults to be active and social in a fun

Experience a exciting and supportive environment. It’s a great way to reconnect with your favorite sport, to improve your skills, and to challenge and test your limits whether on the court or playing field.

Baseball / Softball / T-Ball

YMCA baseball is designed to teach the fundamentals of the game. Formats include t-ball, coach-pitch and player-pitch.

Basketball

Whether you are a casual player or a competitive player looking to improve your skills join our Basketball leagues!

Clinics

Clinics are geared to help athletes develop sport-specific skills. A YMCA clinic is a great lead-up for participating in a class or league setting.

Dance / Cheer / Gymnastics

From Tumbling to Gymnastics, Dance to Cheer, the Y provides programs that help build poise, confidence, and discipline while never losing sight of fun!

Football

Y Flag Football is designed to teach the basic skills of the sport to those who have never played the game and improve the skills of those who have.

Martial Arts

Learning a Martial Art builds lifelong skills. It’s a great way to improve coordination and focus, refine agility and motor skills along with goal-setting and focus skills.

Soccer / Futsal

The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis offers both Soccer and Futsal, which is a version of indoor soccer, as part of our sports programs and activities.

Specialty Sports

The YMCA’s Specialty Sports programming offers additional opportunities to strengthen character, engage families, and build lasting relationships.

Volleyball

The Y’s Volleyball programs offer a great opportunity to sharpen your agility, strength, and cardio conditioning!
