The YMCA Family Fitness programs are designed for parents and children to work out together in a fun and kid-friendly environment. Come as a family and get fit together. Activities include recreational games, team sports, scooters, guest fitness instructors and more!

Family Fitness

Fitness is for everyone, so why not introduce your family to fitness through a fun and high energy circuit training they’ll love!

Choose Family Fitness Training and be trained by one of our certified personal trainers or compete as a family in our Family Fitness Circuit Challenge. Family size up to 5 can work out with our personal trainers or choose family safe labeled equipment to complete the Family Fitness Circuit Challenge. All fitness levels welcome.

Family Group Exercise

We offer group exercise classes geared towards families.

Family Gym

Bring the family to “Open Gym” to play and hang out

We will have the gymnastics mats available, as well as board games, and other fun things. This is a family driven activity. See Member Services Desk for more class and registration information.

Family Gym & Swim

Expose your preschooler to various games and recreational activities on land and in water!

Preschoolers ages 3-5 years will participate in fun, recreational activities and water games.

Family Wellness Appointments

Families can learn to be physically active together through life stage-appropriate Y activities

YMCA Membership benefits include free sessions with a  certified YMCA Wellness Advisor. Sessions are highly tailored to the individual or family’s fitness level and work/life balance.

Family Workout Time

This time is for the family who wants to work out together.

Parents can spend quality time to work out with their children in our group exercise studio. Parental Supervision is a MUST! Have fun and get fit as a family!

Little Yogi & Parent

Yoga for children (ages 2-5), with the interaction of their parent or caregiver

Participants will learn basic age-appropriate yoga poses through the use of fun props, creative imagination, and interactive books and games. This 45-minute entry-level session is focused on using the breath to bring mindfulness and calmness to parents and their children.
