Coming to the YMCA has so many benefits—from staying fit to learning new skills and more. The Y is dedicated to providing quality fitness programs, youth activities and special events that encourage the whole family to enjoy a healthy lifestyle.


The Y offers a variety of fitness programs that are just for teens, there is something for everyone! Stop by the Y for some fun, interactive and great exercise programs!

Free Weight Certified Teens


Teens age 14-15 may use the free weight area, but they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and have successfully completed a teen fitness orientation.

Teen Fitness Orientation


The benefits of strength and cardio are incredible for teens. Complete an equipment certification with a Wellness Advisor to learn safe and proper use of equipment.

Tween Fit


Youth (ages 9-12) can spark a life-long interest in exercise, explore age- appropriate workout, and more! Fun, interactive, and great exercise!

Tween Fit Challenge


Put your exercise to the challenge. Cycling, swimming, and circuit training are just some of the ways that this class sparks a life-long interest in fitness. This class is very popular and fills quickly — please register early!

Personal Training


Expert Advice. Customized for Results.

When it comes to fitness (like most things), there’s simply no substitute for personalized, expert advice. Let one of our certified trainers get you to the next level. Whether you’re a new exerciser, comfortable with your fitness but looking for something more, or a seasoned competitor, our YMCA Personal Training Program will get you results.

The Personal Training Starter Package is the entry point to the YMCA’s Personal Training Program. You will be contacted by a Certified Personal Trainer within the next two business days to discuss and schedule your first one-on-one session. In this session you will:

    • Meet with a Certified Personal Trainer
    • Complete a series of baseline assessments
    • Discuss your health and wellness goals
    • Determine the right customized personal training program plan for you!

Personal Training can be done onsite at the Y, offsite (such as in a park) with your trainer, and even virtually through one of our video conferencing methods. You can also choose a combination of these methods in your personal plan.

Semi-Private Personal Training


Semi-Private Training classes cost less than Personal Training, and can yield many of the same benefits

Groups consist of 2-4 people that meet on specific days/times with a certified Personal Trainer. Please ask a Wellness Staff Member for more information.

Yoga


Yoga class concentrating on balancing postures and stretching/floor work included.

Modifications to meet all levels, and laughter is encouraged when needed. (All Fitness Levels)

Intro to Yoga


Focuses on repetitive and progressive postures

This yoga class will increase muscle tone, maximize caloric use, and improve stress management and relaxation!

Beginner Yoga


Yoga will improve your flexibility and strengthen your core muscles while banishing stress and tension.

This beginner yoga class will focus on basic level poses and breathing techniques. Give it a try.

Intermediate Yoga


This intermediate class will focus on flowing poses with breathing technique

The perfect class for relieving stress and tension. Unites mind and body through balance, strength, flexibility and core focus.

Power Yoga


A powerful, energetic class that relieves tension and tight muscles

Will challenge your strength while improving your flexibility, and will make you feel refreshed and renewed as you move through a series of advanced yoga poses. Yoga experience preferred.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga


Transform your mind, body, and spirit!

Relaxing but invigorating class that uses breath to flow and sustain poses. Balancing postures and stretching/floor work included to improve strength, flexibility, and reduce stress. Modifications to meet all levels.

Chair Yoga


A yoga class designed for ALL participants

This class focuses on poses and postures to improve breathing, flexibility, balance, muscular strength and endurance and joint range of motion with the chair for seated and standing.

Enjoy a peaceful practice and meditation to to help connect you with your body on a deeper level

AcroYoga

Essential Yoga


Come learn the benefits of weaving essential oils into your yoga practice

Class will take you through a rhythmic flow with different kinds of oils to help you connect with yourself on a deeper level. Oils will be provided by the instructor.

Youth Karate


Karate training improves the lives of those who participate

Karate instills self-confidence, self-discipline, respect, and responsibility. At the Y, students, in this traditional martial arts program, maintain a healthy lifestyle, get a whole body workout, relieve stress and develop self-defense skills in a non-competitive, welcoming environment.

Boxing


The YMCA’s boxing classes off a total body workout

Boxing is a combination of cardio, boxing and martial arts providing a total body workout which aims to improve strength, aerobic fitness, speed, flexibility, coordination, and balance. Come punch and kick your way to a healthier you.

Adult Judo


Judo is a martial arts program offered at the YMCA

Judo encourages the principles of attack and defense. This class improves both your health and physical education while strengthening your body’s core.

Kali Stick & Knife Defense


Kali is a weapons-based self-defense system that originated in the Philippines

Its main focus is stick and knife attacks. The YMCA’s Kali Stick & Knife Defense programs will teach you stick and knife techniques, as well as the proper blocking with sticks, angles of attack and footwork that is associated with it.

Mixed Martial Arts


The YMCA’s Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) programs are an excellent conditioning workout used for technique development and form.

You will learn the striking & conditioning of mixed martial arts and get in fighting shape like an MMA fighter. These classes consist of kicking & punching elbows and knees from muay thai and conditioning from ju-jitsu.

Cycle


Who thought riding a bike would be this much fun?

Enjoy a great workout on our cycle bikes. Each instructor brings their own flair, so try them all to find your best fit. Instructors welcome first time riders.

Cycle Express


This cycle exercise class uses major muscle groups and raises the heart rate

Perfect class for seeing those great benefits to health. Cycling is a good form of exercise for those with certain joint problems because less pressure is exerted on the joints.

Cycle & Pump


Cycle & Pump incorporates muscular strength exercises with traditional indoor cycling.

Our staff will take you off they bike and into muscle strengthening routines. Get you’re cardiovascular and strength workouts in one.

Pilates is a method of body conditioning designed to stretch and strengthen the body through a series of unique exercises

Intermediate Pilates


This class builds off fundamentals learned in beginner pilates. Focuses on core movements and breath work.

Aqua Zumba®


Known as the Zumba “pool party”

With a RPE rating of 4-6 Aqua Zumba gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Splashing, stretching, twisting, even shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering are often heard during an Aqua Zumba class. Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua ftness disciplines, Aqua Zumba blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.
