Moving for Better Balance (Falls Prevention)

HELP PREVENT FALLS
Moving For Better Balance works to improve balance, muscle strength, flexibility, and mobility to enhance overall physical health. This leads to better functioning in daily activities. Participation in the program may also result in better mental health, reduced stress, improved memory and cognition, and increased self-esteem.

The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program helps those at high risk adopt and maintain healthy lifestyles and reduce their chances of developing type 2 diabetes

Weight Management

The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is excited to offer a WEIGHT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM to the community. You will get the support and tools you need to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. In this program, participants can expect to learn the basics to lead a well-balanced lifestyle. Your trained program facilitator and other members in this group- based program will be with you along the way for support and accountability.
