Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)
Prepare for a rewarding career as a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA). CNAs assist with basic care in hospitals and long-term care facilities. They’re often the main caregivers, helping with daily activities.
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
Looking to grow your skills in allied health beyond the immediate care role of a CNA or QMA? Then look no further than the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) course. CCMAs are credentialed healthcare professionals serving in clinics, private practices, urgent care centers, hospitals, and more. The goal of this course is to provide a comprehensive education focused on procedures for assisting the physician and nurse with patient/client care.
Community Health Worker (CHW)
A Community Health Worker (CHW) is a frontline public health worker who is a trusted member of the community and/or has an unusually close understanding of the community served. This trusting relationship enables the CHW to serve as a link between health and social services and the community to facilitate access to services and improve the quality and cultural competence of service delivery. A CHW also builds individual and community capacity by increasing health knowledge and self-sufficiency through a range of activities such as outreach, community education, informal counseling, social support and advocacy.
Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
Ready for a challenging and rewarding career in healthcare that does not involve interacting with patients? Then medical coding and billing could be for you!
Certified professional coders (CPCs) translate patient medical records into standardized medical codes. CPCs must possess technical knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology, a keen attention to detail, and great analytical skills. Students participating in this course will be on a steep learning curve for this in-demand job that has an average salary of $45,000/ yr.
High School Equivalency Program (HSE)
On average, workers with a high school diploma earn over $8,000 more per year than those without a diploma. And a high school education is an important first step before entering a two- or four-year college program. Start your next chapter now by earning your High School Equivalency (HSE) credential.
Our HSE prep program prepares adult learners for the GED® examination to obtain an Indiana High School Equivalency Diploma. The course covers all subject areas of the test: math, reading, writing, science and social studies.
Classes are offered virtually or in person.
Your Project Connect instructor will assess your skills and help you study. You’ll also get access to virtual instruction, academic monitoring, childcare and financial aid for testing fees.
Child Development Associate® (CDA) Credential™
The Child Development Associate® (CDA) Credential™ is the most widely recognized credential in early childhood education (ECE), and it is a key stepping stone on the path of career advancement in ECE. The CDA® is based on a core set of competency standards that guide early childhood professionals toward becoming qualified educators of young children.
