Take control of your health!
Join us the 3rd Monday of each month at 9 AM for a nutrition seminar. All seminars will be held in the upstairs conference room at the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA.
All seminars are a part of our Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program.
The YMCA’s Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring program offers personalized support as participants develop the habit of monitoring their blood pressure. Research shows that the process of recording blood pressure at least twice a month over a period of four months can lower blood pressure in many people with high blood pressure.
Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring is one part of Y-USA’s suite of evidence-based chronic disease prevention programs. For more information on the program, please contact Kayla Northcutt at firstname.lastname@example.org

Underdawg 5K supports Indy College Students & Neighbors
The Intercollegiate YMCA is changing Indianapolis by connecting college students from UIndy, Butler, IUPUI, and Ivy Tech to service opportunities that IMPACT our community, INFLUENCES change, and teaches them to INTEGRATE service into their life after college.
The students we engage provide free after school and day camp programs to youth in low-income apartment communities that ensure academic success, improve behavior through positive mentoring, and change their attitude towards their education. This program has contributed to an increase in overall grades and test scores, as well as played a part in the reduction of youth-involved crime in the communities.
Help us continue these programs!
Your support through the 5K will help us continue our programs and allow us to expand in more communities and change the lives of youth and college students across Indianapolis.
Don’t stop now! Check out all of the races in the YMCA Inspire Indy 5K Series.
