Young cheerleaders will have the chance to get active and have fun cheering. Cheerleaders will build self-confidence and self-esteem while developing. Cheerleading combines gymnastics, tumbling, cardio, and dance. Cheerleaders will learn basic changes, cheers, and formations.
Style, poise, posture, rhythm, movement, and discipline are taught in these beginner and advanced dance classes.
We teach athletes to tumble, run, jump and twist in our program while helping them to develop muscular strength, flexibility and body awareness. Our programs are designed to provide a safe, nurturing environment for athletes to develop tumbling skills

Track & Field & Cross Country Teams
Join us for a unique Track and Field program that culminates with a Track and Field Meet.
Youth Cross Country participants will work on running and stride techniques, training strategies and efficiency.
Work with a certified trainer, review goals, and develop a customized exercise program to meet your needs. Your trainer will guide you through each exercise offering feedback, motivation, and accountability.
Emergencies can happen anytime. Are you prepared? Our certified courses provide you with the critical training that you need for an emergency. At the Y, we support and encourage safe and effective programming by making available a wide variety of YMCA and national certifications and training opportunities for professionals working to help people live healthier lives.
