Join our camp family.

At the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis, we believe that Camp is more than just a fun place to spend the summer at. Camp is a place where we value hard work and meaningful conversations. Camp is where we challenge ourselves and each other to be better every single day; where we aren’t afraid of failing along the way. At Camp, we’re unwavering in our commitment to safety and in our commitment to being thorough in all that we do. We believe in Camp as a way to change the world around us, a place that is not just impactful, but one that is life-changing.

Difference-makers

Seeking professional role models.

At the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis, our camps need individuals that believe in our children as a path towards a better future for us all. We’re looking for staff who are willing to put the needs of others before their own. Who see the value in giving themselves to a greater cause. We want staff that see the importance of the world around them. The importance of nature and of camp. The importance of themselves and of the team we choose to surround ourselves with. We want innovators and creative thinkers; problem-solvers and trend-setters. Those who don’t mind stepping out of their comfort zone every once in awhile. We want hard workers who are as passionate about learning as they are about guiding; who understand that the best way forward is paved with compassion. At camp, we believe that kids need camp. And for that, we need you. When we say that we grow great leaders, we don’t just mean great kids. Great leadership starts with great staff, and that’s why we want you.
