Doug Church, senior partner at Church Church Hittle + Antrim and a YMCA Foundation of Greater Indianapolis Trustee, started the Indiana State Bar Association Courthouse Art Project in 2007, with a goal of documenting all 92 Indiana courthouses in original works of art. Church said the project is intended to focus on the importance of our judicial system and our ancestors’ recognition of the significance of a society governed by the Rule of Law. With only five courthouses remaining, the finish line is in sight, and plans are for the eclectic collection to eventually be displayed in a new state judicial building. Read more here.
