Spend a night under the stars at the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA Family Campout! Join us Sept. 26–27 for an overnight family camping experience filled with games, good food, a campfire, s’mores, an outdoor movie and plenty of time together.
The Family Campout will take place on the YMCA fields, with campsite setup beginning Saturday at 5 p.m. After dinner, families can enjoy games, gather around the campfire for s’mores and settle in for an outdoor movie before spending the night in their tents. Sunday morning will include coffee and doughnuts, family activities and campsite cleanup.
Family Campout Schedule
Saturday, Sept. 26
- 5–6 p.m. – Check-in and campsite setup
- 6 p.m. – Dinner
- 7 p.m. – Family games
- 8 p.m. – Campfire and s’mores
- 9 p.m. – Outdoor movie
- 11 p.m. – Everyone in tents for the night
Sunday, Sept. 27
- 8 a.m. – Coffee and doughnuts
- 8:30 a.m. – Morning family activities
- 10 a.m. – Tent breakdown and cleanup
Cost: $30 per member family | $50 per non-member family
Only one family member needs to register. A parent or guardian age 18 or older must remain onsite with their family throughout the night.
