Memorial Day Hero Challenge
SIGN UP NOWAll are welome to participate in the Memorial Day Hero Challenge!
On Monday, May 25, in celebration of Memorial Day and to honor of Veterans and First Responders, the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis will be hosting our annual MEMORIAL DAY HERO CHALLENGE.
This event will be held at the Jordan YMCA.
The Memorial Day Hero Challenge is an opportunity for an individual or group to honor our fallen heroes by completing a Hero Workout that bears their name. Perhaps, the most famous Hero Workout is “Murph” named for LT. Michael Murphy. Our list of 12 available Hero Workouts can be modified for each skill and fitness level, so all are welcome to participate in this event. It does not matter if you choose to complete the workout as an individual or group, as our goal is to honor heroes who have given so much to keep us free.
The Memorial Day Hero Challenge is more than a test of physical ability. It bridges the gap between the body and mind, giving us the chance to do more than just remember our military members- it gives us the chance to sweat, suffer and grieve for our fallen heroes one rep at a time.
All proceeds from the workout will be used to benefit Veterans rograms nad srvices at the YNCA of Greater Indianapolis.
All participants will receive a new custom event patch — one for the overall Hero Challenge 2026 series, and one for the Memorial Day event. Collect all 5 in 2026!
