Exciting Development for the Ascension St. Vincent YMCA in Westfield

We are thrilled to announce an update on the construction of the Ascension St. Vincent YMCA in Westfield, a state-of-the-art facility that will bring unparalleled health and wellness opportunities to our community. Slated to open in January 2025, this incredible project promises to enhance the quality of life for everyone in the area.

Located on 10 acres of land generously donated by the Wheeler family at the southwest corner of Wheeler Road and 181st Street, the new YMCA will be built alongside the existing Westfield Washington School natatorium. This strategic location ensures easy access for families and individuals, making it a central hub for community engagement and wellness activities.

A Glimpse into the Future: The 54,000-Square-Foot Facility

The Ascension St. Vincent YMCA in Westfield will span an impressive 54,000 square feet, offering a diverse array of amenities designed to meet the needs of all community members. Here’s a sneak peek at what you can look forward to:

Gymnasium for Court Sports

A versatile gymnasium will provide space for basketball, volleyball, and other court sports, fostering teamwork, fitness, and fun for all ages.

Free Weights and Cardio Equipment

A comprehensive fitness center equipped with free weights and cardio machines will cater to all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced athletes.

Cycle and Yoga Studios

Specialized studios for cycling and yoga will offer dedicated spaces for group classes, helping you stay motivated and engaged in your fitness journey.

Indoor Track

An indoor track will provide a safe, climate-controlled environment for walking, jogging, and running, no matter the weather outside.

Teaching Kitchen
