The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis' brand new flag football program will benefit from proceeds from adult ticket sales to five primetime practices. These co-ed and girls-only leagues, starting July 8th, aim to increase access and participation in flag football for young athletes across central Indiana.
"We are dedicated to empowering girls ages 4-12, breaking barriers, and increasing access to flag football and girls' sports," shared Anne Dishman, the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis' vice president of programs. Open Practices and Primetime Events
The Colts will host a total of 12 open practices throughout the camp, running from July 25th to August 15th. These practices are completely free to attend for seven of the twelve dates, making it an accessible opportunity for fans of all ages to witness the team's training firsthand.
For those seeking a more premium experience, five "Primetime Practices" will take place on July 27th and 28th, and August 4th, 14th, and 15th. Tickets for these primetime events are just $5 for adults (18 and over), while children 17 and under can still attend for free.
