YMCA Camps: Safe & Fun Care When School’s Out
When school is closed, the Irsay Family YMCA is here for families in the downtown community with camps kids love and parents trust. In our School’s Out Camps for school breaks, holidays and professional development days, we create a safe, welcoming space where every child feels they belong.
Our School’s Out Camps combine active play, hands-on learning and meaningful friendships so kids grow in confidence, character and curiosity. Guided by compassionate, skilled staff, your child will be encouraged to try new things, celebrate achievements and build lasting relationships.
We partner closely with parents — because no one knows your child better than you — to ensure every day at camp supports their growth and happiness. At the YMCA, we’re more than a place to be when school’s out, we’re a place to thrive.

General Information
YMCA of Greater Indianapolis camps offers a variety of programs year-round, including during school breaks and summer. Our School’s Out Camps at the Irsay Family YMCA provide children a fun and safe space to learn, grow and explore their interests.
5 to 12 years of age

- Non-YMCA Member Price: $60

- Non-YMCA Member Price: $215

Main facility doors
Please bring the following items to make the most of your camp experience:
- Lunch
- Two snacks
- Refillable water bottle
- A swimsuit and towel on swimming days
Please label all items clearly.
We believe every child deserves access to enriching experiences. We offer financial assistance through the generous support of donors. Learn more about our financial assistance program and apply online!
If you are interested in utilizing a CCDF voucher, please contact the Youth Development office at BeforeAndAfterSchool@indymca.org. The closest YMCA School’s Out Camp locations that accepts CCDF vouchers is the Ransburg YMCA.

Our action-packed School’s Out Camps take place at the Irsay Family YMCA!
Just south of downtown Indianapolis, the Irsay Family YMCA at CityWay is an expansive hub for the whole community. Its state-of-the-art wellness center features dozens of strength and cardio machines, plus free weights, multipurpose space, and an indoor running track with breathtaking views of the city skyline.
Sample from our full schedule of group exercise classes in three aerobics and yoga studios or our cycling studio. Join a pickup game on one of three full-sized courts in the airy gymnasium. Explore our sport leagues for all ages. Or enjoy the indoor aquatics center, featuring a recreational pool, a 25-yard lap pool, a sauna and a warm water whirlpool for recovery.
The center also features a Play & Learn Center for childcare, an interdenominational chapel, a teaching kitchen, a community and education room, a terrace with green roof technology, and Indiana’s largest living plant wall. Members enjoy free parking and free injury checks from the in-house Franciscan Health office.
