Serving Communities, Improving Health – Last Year Was Monumental!

April 23, 2019
NEWS + STORIES

Dear YMCA Friends,

Community Impact Report Cover ArtThank you for your support of the YMCA as we continue serving communities!

Last year was monumental. In 2018, we unveiled the stunning Salute sculpture in honor of veterans and celebrated the opening of the much-anticipated OrthoIndy Foundation YMCA.

We introduced dozens of new and innovative programs, classes and events. Our caring staff helped others meet life’s challenges and achieve their health and wellness goals. We mentored youth and encouraged them to explore the world and discover their potential.

Bringing people together - Serving Communities

At the Y, we bring neighbors—people of all beliefs and backgrounds—together. Because together, we are better. And Central Indiana residents and communities are stronger.

Record contributions to the Annual Campaign and grants from over 100 community partners expanded the Y’s impact and enabled a record $8 million benefit to the community. With this kind of enthusiasm, the YMCA will continue its mission to build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Thank you for your commitment to the YMCA movement. We're pleased to present the 2018 Community Impact Report.
