2026 YMCA Summer Day Camp
Camp Locations
We’re putting the “tradition” back in Traditional Camp! Activities may include arts & Crafts, hiking, swimming, fort building, skits, environmental education, and so much more! Traditional camps are available for campers ages 5-15 (separated by age groups and dependent on location) at 9 locations. Campers will experience a classic summer camp full of variety!
Discovery Camps are exciting STEM adventures for curious campers ages 5–12. Campers dive into hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, coding missions, and science explorations that feel like real adventures. Each day is about discovering, building, and solving problems in a fun, energetic environment that turns learning into an unforgettable experience.
Camp Types

Discovery Camps are exciting STEM adventures for curious campers ages 5–12. Campers dive into hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, coding missions, and science explorations that feel like real adventures. Each day is about discovering, building, and solving problems in a fun, energetic environment that turns learning into an unforgettable experience.
Enrichment camps will spend a minimum of 3 hours in instruction with the specialty of that week. Whether taught by the YMCA staff or a collaborative partner, specialized enrichment clinics are designed to add a fun and different element to your child’s day. The remainder of the day will be spent participating in camp activities for an overall blended experience.
Please note that enrichment and sports clinics are not eligible for financial assistance.
Program Components
At the YMCA, providing safe, high-quality and enriching experiences for all youth has always been our purpose. YMCA summer programs are full of life-changing experiences and unforgettable memories. The YMCA is a place not only to explore and play but a place for kids to learn and develop skills needed as they grow.
Achievement
Every child has the opportunity to try something new this summer and leave the YMCA with a new skill. This could be trying their hand at archery, learning how to make friendship bracelets, or even developing their leadership skills by leading a group activity. Every child should have the chance to step outside of their comfort zone to experience new things.
Relationships
We want every child to make a connection at the Y with fellow participants and the staff. We help kids not only make new friends but learn how to be good friends, too. We do this through intentional team-building activities, opportunities to learn about those around us and activities focused on our four core values.
Belonging
Every child should feel safe and at home at the Y. The YMCA is a space to be yourself and be welcomed by the people around you! We create this sense of belonging through our traditions and the relationships we build.
