Center Features

The Hendricks Regional Health YMCA is a central health-and-wellness hub for the entire community of Avon. Opened in 2011, it’s fully equipped with a range of indoor and outdoor activities. 

Inside, explore the 8,000-square-foot wellness center with dozens of strength and cardio machines and free weights. Sample a variety of group exercise classes. Enjoy the aquatic center, featuring a lap pool, a warm water recreation pool, a whirlpool and a sauna. Or join a pickup game on two full-sized basketball courts. Outside, stroll the 3.2-mile trail, make use of the multi-purpose athletic fields or enjoy the community garden.

The center also features an outdoor pavilion for day camp, a family center with a play space, a multi-purpose room, and an interdenominational chapel. The Play & Learn Center is available for pre-k childcare, while the Kids Zone is available for children kindergarten age and up. And the adjoining Hendricks Regional Health location offers easy access to complete lab and x-ray services.
