Hours for this YMCA of Greater Indianapolis location are Monday – Friday 5 AM – 8 PM, with regular weekend hours.

(Ages 18+) For adults looking to improve swim movement and efficiency, these clinics will help the intermediate to advanced swimmer improve swim time. Great for triathletes! Led by the former collegiate swimmer, coach, and Olympic Trial finalist Garland Wilson.

Our competitive swim team practices 3-4 days a week, then competes with other YMCAs and teams in the state. Practices led by nationally certified coaches focusing on increasing endurance and speed, while refining technique in a positive and fun environment.

Preschool

Our Early Learning Program allows children to grow personally, clarify values, develop skills, encourage relationships, and become better leaders. Full and half day options are available. Registration now open.

Registration is on-going; new students will begin attending class the first week of the month. Class payments are drafted on the 1st of the month and may be cancelled at any time prior to the 25th for the next month.

Beginner Ballet
(Ages 3-5)
Dancers will be introduced to basic/beginning ballet steps and movements.
Class 1: Mondays, 5-5:30pm
Class 2: Mondays, 5:45-6:15pm

Ballet/Jazz Beginner
(Ages 6-9)
Builds upon basic ballet and jazz skills, movements, and free-flow dance. Introduces classical ballet technique, and positioning in addition to musical awareness and movement.
Mondays, 6:30-7:15pm

Jazz beginner
(Ages 10-13)
Continues to build upon basic jazz, free-flow movement as well as attempt more modern dances processes. This class is a good transition class for our Dance Team.

Dance Teams
No previous dance experience needed to come learn basic hip hop moves and group dancing! Dance Team will occasionally perform for halftime during youth basketball games.

Ballroom Basics
(Ages 16+)
Perfect for those new to ballroom dancing or for anyone wanting to brush up on their fundamentals. Class will focus on partner connection, lead and follow techniques, and beginner dance patterns for several dance styles.

Beginning/intermediate Ballroom
(Ages 16+)
This class is for those who have had some ballroom dance experience, or who have completed Ballroom Basics class. Focus will be on beginner/intermediate dance patterns, while continuing to develop and improve partner connection and lead/follow techniques.

Each 45-minute class features a different sport rotation each week (soccer, football, basketball, t-ball, or track depending on the time of year) and incorporates socialization skills during the session.

Basketball Fundamentals Clinic

All-City Track & Field Season
(Ages 4-16)

Fishers Flames Running Club
(Ages 4-15)
The Fishers Flames Running Club is a USA Track & Field sanctioned club that offers weekly workouts and also includes the YMCA Spring All-City Track Season or the YMCA Fall All-City Cross Country Season. Club fees are for 6 months at a time and include the season that occurs during that time. Weekly workouts are coordinated by the Flames Head Coach and the club members.

BASKETBALL

Rec Leagues: Leaguers with basic fundamentals play with a volunteer parent coach. No scores or records are kept. Typically, games/practices are at one location, however, there may be a week where Fishers YMCA teams crossover to play Jordan YMCA teams (no more than once per season.)
All-City Leagues: Players must have previous experience. Fishers Y teams formed will play other Indianapolis-area YMCA teams. A season consists of three home games and three away games plus a season-ending tournament. Games will be played only on Saturday afternoons. Staff & volunteer parents will be our coaches. Equal playing time is not guaranteed. Records are kept for the season. Participants will receive an upgraded jersey.

This preschool martial arts program led by North Indy Taekwondo Club helps kids develop balance, coordination, and gross motor skills.

Basketball Half-Court League
(Age 27+)
4-on-4. Teams are welcome. Individuals will be placed on teams based on availability and team needs. Teams may be comprised of members or non-members. League is made up of mostly players that come in their own team.

This nationally recognized instructional program is medically accurate, hands-on, and teaches boys and girls how to handle emergencies such as injury management and choking rescue.

A YMCA Certified Diabetes Prevention Program Lifestyle Coach will facilitate 25 sessions on healthier eating, physical activity, and other behavior changes over the course of one year to help prevent diabetes.


LiveStrong at the YMCA
This 12-week fitness program empowers adult cancer survivors to increase muscle and strength, increase flexibility and endurance, and improve confidence and self-esteem.


Moving for Better Balance
Improve your strength, balance, flexibility, and mobility through the slow and therapeutic movements of Tai Chi in this 12-week program.
