(Ages 18+) For adults looking to improve swim movement and efficiency, these clinics will help the intermediate to advanced swimmer improve swim time. Great for triathletes! Led by the former collegiate swimmer, coach, and Olympic Trial finalist Garland Wilson.
Our competitive swim team practices 3-4 days a week, then competes with other YMCAs and teams in the state. Practices led by nationally certified coaches focusing on increasing endurance and speed, while refining technique in a positive and fun environment. Monthly (EFT Draft)
Enjoy an evening out – just you adults – while the kids have fun in play & learn. The evening includes crafts, games, dinner, physical activities and lots of fun! Registration required. 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month, 5-10pm

Registration is on-going; new students will begin attending class the first week of the month. Class payments are drafted on the 1st of the month and may be cancelled at any time prior to the 25th for the next month.

Ninja-Nastics Basic tumbling skills and a great way to burn energy! Focusing on fitness and upper body strengthening along with core development. Girls Ninja-nastics: (Ages 5-8) Thursdays, 5:30-6:15pm Boys Ninja-nastics: (Ages 5-8) Thursdays, 6:30-7:15pm
Learn cheers, motions, jumps, stunts, and basic tumbling skills.
Cheer Team Invitation from an instructor. Team travels around to cheer during away and home athletic games and competes during competitive cheer season.
Invitation Cheer Team Tumbling Invitation from an instructor. Participants must be a part of the competitive Fishers Y Cheer Team to attend this class.
Basketball Developmental Clinic (Little Dribblers) (Ages 3-4 with grown-up) Each 45-minute class covers basic skills and incorporates socialization skills during the 4-week session.
Basketball Fundamentals Clinic Skills will focus on ball handling, dribbling, passing, rebounding, proper shooting technique, and understanding the game (teaching rules and violations).
TRACK & CROSS COUNTRY
All-City Track & Field Season (Ages 4-16)
Fishers Flames Running Club (Ages 4-15) The Fishers Flames Running Club is a USA Track & Field sanctioned club that offers weekly workouts and also includes the YMCA Spring All-City Track Season or the YMCA Fall All-City Cross Country Season. Club fees are for 6 months at a time and include the season that occurs during that time. Weekly workouts are coordinated by the Flames Head Coach and the club members.
BASKETBALL
Rec Leagues: Leaguers with basic fundamentals play with a volunteer parent coach. No scores or records are kept. Typically, games/practices are at one location, however, there may be a week where Fishers YMCA teams crossover to play Jordan YMCA teams (no more than once per season.) All-City Leagues: Players must have previous experience. Fishers Y teams formed will play other Indianapolis-area YMCA teams. A season consists of three home games and three away games plus a season-ending tournament. Games will be played only on Saturday afternoons. Staff & volunteer parents will be our coaches. Equal playing time is not guaranteed. Records are kept for the season. Participants will receive an upgraded jersey.

Soccer Recreational And Select Team Leagues
(Ages 4-14) Players are taught basic game skills such as trapping, dribbling, passing and shooting as well as goalie skills. Rec Leagues: Leaguers with fundamental skills play with a volunteer parent coach. No scores or records kept. All games/practices at one location.
Taekwondo This preschool martial arts program led by North Indy Taekwondo Club helps kids develop balance, coordination, and gross motor skills.
Youth Taekwondo Taekwondo utilizes both hand and foot techniques, and emphasizes flexibility and endurance. Classes led by North Indy Taekwondo prepare beginner and advanced level students for competition at local, state and national levels.
Judo (Ages 6-12) Encourages principles of attack and defense, improved health and strengthens body core.
Basketball Half-Court League (Age 27+) 4-on-4. Teams are welcome. Individuals will be placed on teams based on availability and team needs. Teams may be comprised of members or non-members. League is made up of mostly players that come in their own team.
Volleyball Lite (all ages) Weekly pick-up game that encourages fun and basic exercise.
Judo Encourages principles of attack and defense, improved health and strengthens body core.
Taekwondo (Ages 13+) Taekwondo utilizes both hand and foot techniques, and emphasizes flexibility and endurance. Classes led by North Indy Taekwondo prepare beginner and advanced level students for competition at local, state and national levels. Classes (All belts)
Jiu Jitsu Learn the art of Jiu Jitsu and develop your core balance and understand leverage and advantage.
Kali Stick & Knife Defense (16+) Stick and knife techniques are taught along with proper blocking with sticks, angles of attack and footwork. Plastic demo knives are used.
(Ages 11-13) This nationally recognized instructional program is medically accurate, hands-on, and teaches boys and girls how to handle emergencies such as injury management and choking rescue.
Games, activities, and role play are included, as well as Infant CPR. 2nd & 4th Saturday of each month
Work with a certified trainer, review goals, and develop a customized exercise program to meet your needs. Your trainer will guide you through each exercise offering feedback, motivation, and accountability.
